![]() I'm adding customizable QoS to his list because in my experience it practically deleted the concept of lag from existence in at least a couple games, and lag is a problem for him as well. His features shortlist (off the cuff): - "Necessary (seemingly) - beamforming, split 2.4ghz/5ghz network, UPnP and port forwarding, and the CPU grunt to handle constant high-data throughput" - ".And half decent range would be nice lol" The AC6 qualifies for "half decent" to him so range shouldn't be too tough to achieve, plus he'll still have the AC6 so a second AP or repeater are options. Usage is several phones, multiple computers (up to two at a time I believe, though), sometimes a raspberry pi, maybe an Nvidia shield as well, a smart TV probably, one Oculus Quest. I think his best option is to return and replace the Speedefy, as $80 is *not* so cheap that he should be stuck with some crappy offbrand, and he has asked for input. ![]() Hi, my friend has a Speedefy K7 that's still returnable and a Tenda AC6.
